Ask LOIS is a secure website providing a free legal online information service for community workers in NSWs, who are rural and regionally based, and are responding to women with domestic violence related legal needs.

Ask LOIS provides community workers with free online training on legal issues such as domestic violence, apprehended violence orders, family law, child protection, victims support and much more. Ask LOIS also provides community workers with access to resources, case studies, discussion forums and links to domestic violence services in NSW.

Apply to Become a Member

Complete the online Ask LOIS Become a Member application form and apply for a member account. Users must work for a not-for-profit community organisation. Local Council and Government workers are also invited to become members however membership may be limited to parts of the site.

Users will receive their user name and password within 48 hours. Staff at Women’s Legal Services NSW will allocate usernames and passwords manually during regular business hours. We will endeavour to process applications as soon as possible.
